About Trotamundos Films


A Brazilian production company dedicated for more than fifteen years to produce movies and TV Series about nature, adventure, travels, expeditions and history. Trotamundos films has an own image bank with around 3.000 hours of images of the most beautiful places in the world. Its last movie is “Predators of Distance” and the last TV series is “Natural Refuges”. Nowadays Trotamundos is working in “BIOMAS, Wild Brazil”, a trip inside the six brazilian biomas.

Santiago Ramos

Graduated as a Medicine Doctor and University Teacher, he is a TV producer since 1990. He has got a small participation in the production of the feature film “Sentinelas del Silêncio” , winner of four Oscars awards; from this moment started his activity in TV. In 1982 he participated in the “Jari Project” , a project of the Jacques Cousteau Foundation, produced by Jean Philippe Cousteau in Brazil and at the same year produced his own TV programme “The Sun Refuge” winner of The Kids and The TV Award. Between 1989 and 1996, he directed and edited the TV Programme “Itinerary”, winner of the Santa Clara de Assis Award, Best TV Travel Programme 1992. He produced and directed the documentaries series “América Documentada”, he was cameraman of the “Noticiero Latinoamericano”; he created the sound track of the feature film “Bamba , Nuestra Historia”. He created, write, directed and produced several TV programmes as: Natural Refuges, Trotamundos, Wild Brazil, Predatores of Distances, and many features films around the world.

Carina Bogetti

She is graduated in performing arts and Publicity. As an actress, she’s appeared in TV shows, plays and feature films. After college, was invited to present and produce "eight minutes of Extreme Adventures" for the program “Itinerary”, winner as Santa Clara de Assis,the Best TV show in 1992.
She made the screenplay of several documentaries, including "The Big Waters of the Tupi Guaranies", "About Devils and Coins" and "The White Desert." She is the producer of the TV Series “Natural Refuges” and "Biomes", currently in development.
In 2005 started her carreer as a fine art photographer. Through her studies about the human body and the artistic nude she won several awards like: “Giant in art and photography”, given in Blumenau, at the South of Brazil, “Art & life award”, given by the Ford Center and “Face Floreo Women”, given by the New André Galery, in São Paulo, Brazil. She created the cultural event “Contemporary Women”, a series of vanguard portraits of the most important women at the moment.
